Tramy Rejoins "Slow-Flying Angels" Volunteer Teaching Initiative
In Xuanqiao Town's special education classrooms, a group of extraordinary children navigate their growth journey with inherent fragility and resilience, akin to angels with broken wings who soar deliberately yet determinedly. Affectionately known as "Slow-Flying Angels," these children with disabilities face greater challenges in every step, yet their eyes radiate enduring hope and enthusiasm for life.
Since 2014, the Xuanqiao Town Youth League Committee has spearheaded the "Slow-Flying Angels" volunteer companionship program under the theme "Joyful Learning, Healthy Growth." Through resource integration and community mobilization, the initiative has rallied youth-driven philanthropic efforts. On April 23rd, this heartwarming project continued as the Xuanqiao Town Youth League Committee renewed its partnership with Shanghai Tramy Group to conduct volunteer teaching activities at Xuanqiao School's special education class. Tramy volunteers delivered an innovative "Little Chef's Delight: Wonton-Making Challenge" workshop.
The session began with a video showcasing Tramy's food production facilities, followed by meticulous step-by-step demonstrations on wonton preparation—from filling placement and dough folding to shape molding. Volunteers provided hands-on guidance, encouraging children to attempt each technique while offering gentle corrections. After the cooking process, volunteers served steaming bowls of homemade wontons, eliciting beaming smiles as the children savored their creations.
Every "Slow-Flying Angel" is a unique individual deserving of compassion. Tramy volunteers embodied care and responsibility through their actions, creating a nurturing environment for these special children. This initiative exemplifies how corporate social engagement can illuminate lives, and we anticipate this legacy of kindness will inspire more heartwarming chapters in the future.
